S. Leger ST. JOSEPH (Special) -
The death of Sylvere Leger of Memramcook West occurred Monday night at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. He was 69. Born in Memramcook West, he was a son of the late Emile and Clementine (LeBlanc) Leger. He worked at various jobs throughout his earlier life, including rural mail delivery and driving taxi. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Ovila Leger (Clorice) of Cocagne, Mrs. Rodolphe Landry (Angeline) of St. Joseph, Mrs. Theophile LeBlanc (Marie) of Cormier's Cove and Mrs. Dollard Dupuis (Dorice) of Memramcook West. A brother, Henri died in August. The body is resting at Dupuis' funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph, with interment in the parish cemetery.
