The death of Arthur C. Hebert of Grand Digue occurred Monday at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton after a lenghty illness. He was 87. Born in Grand Digue, he was a son of the late Charles and Domethilde (Poirier) Hebert. He was a retired farmer and fisherman who attended the Grand Digue Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice Gallant; two adopted daughters Mrs. Felix LeBlanc (Marie), Mrs. Adrien Poirier, (Rosaline), both of Moncton; one adopted son Aubrey LeBlanc of Grand Digue; six sisters, Mrs. Edgar Leger (Ida), Mrs. Edmond Boucher (Cora), both of Shediac Bridge, Mrs. Alfred Chase, (Yvonne), Mrs. Edmond Belliveau (Ozelle), both of New Jersey; Mrs. Emilien Yelle (Ora) of Montreal, Que., Mrs. Irene Poirier of Moncton; two brothers, Tilmon of Grand Digue, Desire of Hartford, Conn.; 10 grandchildren , nine great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenetts's funeral home, Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. from the Grand Digue Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the family plot in Grand Digue.
