Mrs. Moses Leger -
Many friends in the city and else where will learn with regret of the passing at Hotel Dieu hospital here early on Sunday morning of Elodie, wife of Moses Leger, 30 Park street. Deceased had been ill for several months and while her death was not entirely unexpected, yet it came as a shock to members of the family and all who knew her. The deceased was 66 years of age and had made her home in Moncton for many years. She was a native of Upper Aboujagane, being before her marriage Miss Elodie D. Boudreau. A devout Roman Catholic, she was a member of L'Assomption Cathedral parish and was also a member of the Sodality of Ste. Anne. The late Mrs. Leger is survived by her husband, four step-daughters and four step-sons. The step-daughters are, Mrs. Frank White, Springhill, N.S., Mrs. J. William LeBlanc, Lewisviile, Misses May and Katherine, both at home. The step-sons are Adolph of Montreal, Eddie, Frank and William of Moncton. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Aime Cormier of Fitchburg, Mass., and a brother, Oliver Boudreau of North Cambridge, Mass. The body is resting at the family home 30 Park street, from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday morning to L'Assomption Cathedral for requiem high mass at nine o'clock, after which interment will take place in Shediac Road cemetery.
