Death Of M. P. Bourque -
The death of Marcel Pierre Bourque of Moncton occurred Tuesday at the home of his daughter Mrs. Eddie Black, LeBlancville following a lengthy illness. He was 91. Born in Memramcook he was the son of the late Dosithe and Sylvle (Leger) Bourque. He retired in 1943 after 30 years service with Canadian National Railways as a carman. He attended Christ the King Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Sacred Heart League. His wife, the former Blanch Bourque died in 1966. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Allison Poirier (Juliette), Montreal; Mrs. Eddie Black (Jean), LeBlancville; Mrs. Fred Aaron (Almaise) and Mrs. James Lee (Berniec), both of Chicago; Mrs. Edgar Goguen (Simone) and Mrs. Francis Goguen (Bernadette), both of Moncton; fours sons, Dosithe, Point Clair, Que.; Alonzo, Dorval, Que.; Phillippe, Lachine, Que.; and Marcel, Ville La Salle, Que.; two sisters, Mrs. Resimond Bourgeois (Hermenie), Moncton; Mrs. Manuel Richard (Armaise), Memramcook; two brothers, Pierre, St. Joseph and Gasper, Memramcook; 28 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home with funeral service to be held Friday at. 10 a.m. from Christ the King Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic cemetery, Chartersville.
