James C. Legere - SPRINGHILL -
James Conrad Legere,92, of Springhill, died Friday in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born in Bouctouche, N.B., he came to Springhill in 1903 and was employed as a coal miner. He was a veteran of the First World War and a member of the Canadian Legion. He is survived by three sons, Archie, Amherst; Lloyd and Edward, both of Springhill; two daughters, Edna (Mrs. Harold Embree), Springhill; 30 grandchildren and several Great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Alice Leblanc, two sons, one daughter and three brothers. The body is at A.H. Brown Funeral Home, Springhill. Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Saint John's Roman Catholic Church, Rev, Robert Ryan officiating. Commmittal will be in Springhill recieving vault.
