Geneva LeBlanc
Geneva LeBlanc, 76, wife of Oscar LeBlanc, of Evangeline Street, Bouctouche, NB, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, after a brief illness. Born on October 10, 1925, in Richibouctou-Village, NB, she was the daughter of the late Clorice Leger and Rose Boucher. She was a housewife & worked at a fish manufacturing plant. She attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche and was a member of the Bouctouche Golden Age Club. She is survived by her husband, Oscar LeBlanc; three daughters, MarieJeanne Breau (Jean-Paul) of Saint Edouard, Yvonne Guerrette (Albert Parent) of Saint-Anne de Madawaska, Rosa Cormier (Bernard) of Richibouctou-Village; four step-daughters, Joline Bourque (Jacques), Carmella LeBlanc (Gerry), Julie LeBlanc (Maurice) all of Bouctouche, Ginette LeBlanc (Maurice) of Moncton; two sons, Joseph Babineau (Simonne) of RichibouctouVillage, Zoel Babineau (Aurella) of Bouctouche; three stepsons, JeanLouis LeBlanc (Alice), Bernard LeBlanc (Lucie) both of Moncton, Andre LeBlanc (Aline) of Bouctouche; one sister, Elionore Richard (Emile) of Saint-Antoine; seven brothers, Exibe Leger (Alphonsine), Aurele Leger (Dora) both of Bedec, Gerald Leger (Rita), Henri Leger (Dorice), Josephat Leger (Regina), Ola Leger (Laurianne) all of Richibouctou-Village, Leo-Paul Leger of Petit-Rocher; eight grandchildren; four great grand-children; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Gerald; one daughter, Aline; two brothers, Leon and Armand; two grand-children, Martin and Lisa. Resting at Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village, with visitation on Wednesday, September 18th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 and Thursday, September 19th from 2:004:00 and 6:00-7:15 pm. Funeral service will be held at Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richibouctou-Village, on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 7:30 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
