J. Bernard Leger
SHEDIAC, NB - J. Bernard Leger, 65, of Main St., Shediac, NB, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Shediac, NB, on November 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Yvon Leger and the late Mélina Cormier. He retired from Electrolux Canada and Radio Canada. He attended St-Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. He was a member of Moncton Motor Cycle Club, member of Nifty Fifty Old Timer Hockey Club and a membre des Filles de Marie de L'Assomption. Mr. Leger is survived by his wife, Diane Richard; very special friend Jacqueline LeBlanc; two daughters, Monique Leger (Peter Ryan) of Ottawa, Rachel Leger of Québec; two sons, Marc Leger of Moncton, Piérre Leger (Joanne) of Memramcook; two sisters, Eliette Porelle of Shediac, Hélene Daigle (Clifford) of Bathurst; five brothers, Roméo Leger (Therése) of Shediac, George (Simonne) of Shediac, Roger Angélié of Bathurst, Francois-Marie of Bathurst, Léonce (Alina) of Montréal, Qué.; eight grandchildren, Melanie, Josée, Brigitte, Natasha, Jean-Marc, Isabelle, Antoine, Théa. Resting at Cooperative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co-operative, Shediac Bridge with visitation on Friday, January 28, 2005 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visiting time on Saturday. Family and friends will meet at the church. The Funeral Service will be held at St-Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Mental Health Association (Bi-polar) or a charity of donor's choice would be appreciated.
