SHEDIAC BRIDGE, NB - Louis Philippe LeBlanc, 81, of Indian Point Rd, Shediac Bridge, NB passed away at the Dr. George L-Dumont Hospital on June 26, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, NB on December 18, 1922, son of the late Joseph LeBlanc and Perina Leger. He was retired and was the former owner of Atlantic Beverages. He attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue and was a member of Knights of Columbus, past president of Beausejour Curling Club, member of Beaver Curling Club, member of Elks Club, member of Probus Club, member of American Legion for twenty-one years, member of Canadian Legion 57 years, past president of Canadian Association of Independent Wholesaler Association, Veteran of the Second World War with Royal Canadian Air Force Reg. No. 256725. He is survived by his wife, Dora LeBlanc; two daughters, Joanne Crawford (James), Shediac Bridge, Thérese LeBlanc, Kingston, ON; one son, Paul LeBlanc (Linda), Shediac Bridge; one sister, Rev. Sister Therèse LeBlanc, PontViau, Que.; six grandchildren, Chantal, Karen, Kevin, Kimberley, Louis and Maria; two great grandchildren, Marc, and Catherine. He was predeceased by his first wife, Maria (1975); one sister, Bernadette; one grandson, Marc (2000). Resting at Cooperative Funeraie Passage Funeral Co-operative with visitation hours on Sunday from 7 to 9pm and Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 11 am at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande Digue, NB. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Donations requested by the family to the Dr. George L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation and Heart & Stroke Foundation.
