Marie G. Thibodeau (1910 - 1997)
Mrs. Marie G. Thibodeau, 86, widow of the late Alphonse Thibodeau (1982) of Résidence Belcourt, Shediac and formerly of Haute-Aboujagane passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, April 22nd, 1997.
Born in Barachois, August 18th, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Roy and the late Pélagie Léger. A homemaker, she attended Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haue-Aboujagane. She is survived by four daughters, Emma Thibodeau of Vancouver, B.C., Elda Cormier (Omer) of New Hampshire, Almeda Thibodeau of Mill River, P.E.I., Angèle Cormier (Norbert) of Haute-Aboujagane; six sons, Valmon (Félice) and Michel, both of Shediac, Edgar (Gélina) and Claude (Louise), both of St.-André, Hubert (Dora) of Cap-Pelé, Hector of Nanaimo, B.C.; two sisters, Elizabeth LeBlanc of Shediac, Sr. Marie Alfred, n.d.s.c. of Moncton; twenty grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Ernestine and Euphémie and two brothers, Edgar and Napoléon Roy.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visiting hours on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at the Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Haute-Aboujagane on Friday, April 25, 1997 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Haute-Aboujagane.
