Amedée Duguay CAP-PELE, NB - Amedée Duguay, 99, of Cap-Pelé, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born November 16, 1903 in CapPelé, he was the son of the late Alphée and Olive (LeBlanc) Duguay. A war veteran, he served overseas during W.W. 2 then was employed at National Sea Products from where he retired following 30 years service. He was also a member of the Cap-Pelé Golden Age Club and Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his wife, Irene (Vienneau) Duguay; one daughter Gloria Bourque (Philippe) of Shemogue; one son, Terry of Mass; seven grandchildren, Lynn, Diane, Sheri, Amy, Jerry-Joseph, Rachel, Philip Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren: Kerrie, Holly, Christopher, Erin, Brian, Kevin, Éric, Michael, Ryan, Jeffrey, Sarah, Tyler, Ismael; several nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Jerry; sisters Hélène Duguay, Dorina Sawyer, Phyllis Leger, Edmée Kajawki, Émilienne Cormier, Anna Dugas; brothers, Roy, Ephrem, and Raoul. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 2642 Acadie Avenue, Cap-Pelé (5773297). Visiting hours Monday from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic. Church, Cap-Pelé. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
