TROIS-RUISSEAUX - Mr. Cornelius "Connie" Léger, 62, of Trois-Ruisseaux passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, April 10, 1997 after a courgeous battle with cancer.
Born December 7, 1934 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Adolphe Léger and the late Emerise Fagan. He was a Fisherman for fifty years and attended Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé.
He is survived by seven sisters, Aurore Gaudet (Alyre) of Scoudouc, Caroline Halloran (Edward), Rose-Anna Vautour, Marilyn Léger, Jocelyne Gallant (Moril) and Rhoda Léger, all of Trois-Ruisseaux, Marina Lirette (Gérald McGraw) of Cormier Village: three brothers, Alphée (Jeannette), Bernard, both of Trois-Ruisseaux, Emerie (Jeannine) of Cap-Pelé; several nieces, nephews and a god-child, Angèle. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Adrice and Paul Léger.
Resting at Funérarium Frenette, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) with visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé on Saturday, April 12, 1997 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Cap-Pelé.
