Bernadette Léger, 80, of Residence O Bon Soins, Shediac and formally of Saint-Grégoire, passed away after la lengthy illness surrounded by her family at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Saturday February 3rd, 2007. She was the widow of the Late Hervé Léger (2004).
Born in Notre-Dame, on May 9th, 1926, she was the daughter of the Late Philippe and Rosanna (Née LeBlanc) Cormier. She attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church Bouctouche, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters; Cléola Léger of Saint-Grégoire, and Andréa Léger (Gerard) of Cocagne, three grandchildren; Michel and Chantal Goguen and Estelle Boucdreau, and also three great grandchildren; Janick, Miguel, Erika, one sister Henriette Goguen of Cocagne and several nephews and nieces.
Other than her husband, she was predeceased by two sons Aldoria (1975), Raoul (1981), 1 grandson; Réo (1995) and two brothers; Narcisse, Hervé.
Visitation will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday February 4th, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday February 5th from 2 to 3:34 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at 4:00 pm on Monday February 5th, 2007. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
