The death of Mrs. Imogene Leger, widow of Theotime Leger, of Trois Ruisseau, occurred Thursday at the Villa Providence, Shediac, following a lengthy illness. She was 83. Born in Petit Cap, she was a daughter or the late Patrick and Christine (Thibodeau) Melanson. She attended the St. Theresa d'Avilla Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pele. Her husband died in 1933. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alex LeBlanc (Nistelle) of Kitchener, Ont., Mrs. Leonce Landry (Rhea) of Cap Pele; four sons, Gervais, Aquila, both of Cap Pele, Roland and Tim, both of Kitchener, Ont.; one brother, Clovis of Petit Cap; 25 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's funeral home, Shediac. The funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in the St. Theresa d'Adila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pele. Interment will be in the family plot of the parish cemetery.
