W. A. Bourque
The death of Wilfred A. Bourque of Melanson Settlement occurred at Dr. George Dumont Hospital Monday following a lengthy illness. He was 71.
Born in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Alphee and Sara (LeBlanc) of Nova Scotia. He was a retired carpenter, having retired in 1969. He attended St-Anselme Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife the former Nellie LeBlanc, one daughter, Mrs. Rene Maillet (Francine) of St Anne de Kent, two sons, Leonard P. of St. Anselme and Louis of St. Joseph, one sister, Miss Exea Bourque of Scoudouc and seven grandchildren.
The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home and will be taken to St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church on Thursday for funeral services at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the family lot.
