ST. ANTOINE DE KENT - Mrs. Lina Léger, 74, of St. Antoine de Kent, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 1996 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a sudden illness.
Born on October 12, 1921 in Cocagne, she was the danghter of the late Emilien and Elise (Nowlan) LeBlanc. A housewife, she attended the St-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church, St-Antoine de Kent.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria (Armand Gallant) and Stella (Bernard Allain), both of St-Antoine de Kent; five sons, Gerald (Lucille) of Cocagne, Robert (Yvonne) of Notre Dame de Kent, Normand (Bernice), Aldérice (Raymonde) and Ronald (Velda), all of Gardner, Mass., USA; one sister, Laura Brun of Grande-Digue; one brother, Arthur (Rosanna) of St-Antoine de Kent; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Léger; one grandson, Victor in 1996; one sister, Emilienne; two brothers, Edmond and Clovis.
Resting at St-Antoine l'Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, St-Antoine de Kent with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at the St-Antoine L'Ermite Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, October 10, 1996 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Parish Cemetery.
