MRS. ALFRED LEGERE
JOGGINS - Mrs. Alfred Legere of Joggins, 75, died Friday morning at the Moncton City Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Sprinhill and lived most of her life in Joggins. Prior to going to hospital two weeks ago, she visited with her daughter in Dupuis Corner, N.B. She was a member of St Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Joggins. Her Husband died 23 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Clarence Leblanc) of Dupuis Corner; Dorothy (Mrs.Ernest Comeau) of Toronto; four sons, James, Noranda,Que.; Basil, Joggins; Austin, British Columbia; Joseph, Milton, Ont.; one sister Mrs. Minnie White of Halifax; 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Her body is at home in Joggins, where parish rosary was recited Sunday evening. The funeral mass was held Monday.at 9 a.m., at St Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment was in Ragged Reef Cemetery.
