GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB - Yvon-Guy LeBlanc, 65, of Grand-Barachois passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a brief illness. Born in Robichaud, January 31, 1941, he was the son of the late Napoléon and Joséphine (Gautreau) LeBlanc. A civil engineer, he was the proprietor of G. N. LeBlanc Construction Ltd. and a life member with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick. Yvon-Guy will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Bernice (Léger) LeBlanc; two daughters, Ginette LeBlanc (Paul) of Grand-Barachois, Andrée Verhoog (Peter) of Ponoka, AB; two sons, Marc (Jackie) of Cap-Pelé, Denis of Grand-Barachois; three sisters, Juliette Landry (Ed Stevens) of Perry Sound, ON, Jeannette Belliveau (late Bernard) of Bouctouche, Cécile Bourque (Eric) of Mont-Joli, QC; five brothers, Gilles (Rose), Donald (Germaine) and Francis (Jeannine) all of Grand-Barachois, Jean-Paul (Aurella) of Presque Isle, Maine, and Bernard (Hélène) of Shediac; six grandchildren, Luc, Ginelle, Micheline, Joel, Janice, Suzanne and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Valmont and Fernand. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday, March 19 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Monday, March 20, from 10a.m. until time of departure (10:40a.m). The funeral mass will be held at 11a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2006 at Saint-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
