Guillaume J. Leger
Bostford Portage - Guillaume J. Leger, 63, of Botsford Portage, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 1995, after a sudden illness.
Born on October 4, 1931, in Cap Pele, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Roseanna (LeBlanc) Leger. He was the proprietor of Guillaume J. Legere Upholstery and Wood Refinishing and proprietor of Leger Tree Farm in Cap Pele. He attended Ste. Theresse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church in Cap Pele. He was a member of South East Christmas Tree Growers Association and the Shemoque Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Aline (Boudreau) Leger; three daughters, Denise Leger of Cap Pele, Mrs. Gilberte Doelle and her husband Siegmar of Digby, N.S., Mrs. Jacqueline Leger-Bourque and her husband Charles of Cocagne; one son, Blair Leger of Cap Pele; seven sisters, Mrs. Rachel Damien of Fitchburg, Mass., USA, Stephanie Leger of Moncton, Irma Legere of Moncton, Mrs. Lorraine Cossette and her husband Antonio of Lansing, Michigan, USA, Mrs. Aurea Lirette and her husband Ovila of Shediac, Mrs. Helene LeBlanc and her husband Paul of Moncton, Mrs. Leontine Cormier and her husband Gerard of Moncton; two brothers, Alban Leger and his wife Leona of Cap Pele, Maurille Leger and his wife Francine of Cap Pele; three grandchildren, Oliver, Meyer, and Alexis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at Ste. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church Hall in Cap Pele with visiting hours on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Therese d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pele, on Saturday, March 11, 1995 at 11 a.m. with Rev.; Yvon LeBlanc officiating. Interment in Cap Pele Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cap Pele. Funeral arrangements in care of Frenette Funeral Home, Main Street, Shediac, (532-3297)
