Mrs. G. Niles -
The death of Mrs. Georgina Niles (Vautour) of Lower Cape Bald occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital Sunday after a lengthy illness. She was 82. Born in Cape Bald she was the daughter of the late Donat and Emilienne (Cormier) Vautour and attended Cape Bald Roman Catholic Church. Her husband died in 1955. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. William Gould (Edith) Moncton; Mrs. Paul Myers (Emelie) Montreal; Mrs. Meddor Roy, Dieppe, Mrs. Alban Richard (Anita), British Columbia; Mrs. Gerard Landry (Dorice) Cape Bald; and Mrs. Leandre Maillet (Louisa), Cape Bald; six sons, Henry, Fitchburgh, Mass.; Frank, Brantford, Ont.; Benny, Gunningsville; Adolph, Cocagne, Lvila, Cape Bald; and Edwin, Shediac Road, four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Leger, Mrs. Ben Caissie, Mrs. Frank Richard and Mrs. Freddy Leger, all of Fitchburg, Mass.; five brothers, Edmund, Florida; Gerald, Fitchburgh; Napoleon, Amherst; Willie, Cape Bald; and Amede, Moncton; 60 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren. The body is resting in Frenette's Funeral Home, Shediac with the funeral service to be held Wednesday morning at 11:15 a.m. from Cape Bald Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
