62, Lower Sackville, died January 22, 1995, in Camp Hill Medical Centre. Born in Caraquet, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Nazarre and Alice (Leger) Gionet. Surviving are her husband, Alphonse; daughters, Sandra, Cheryl, Sackville; twin daughters, Diane, Darlene, Halifax; sons, Wayne, Sackville; David, Dartmouth; Kevin, Halifax; brothers, Marcel, Alere, Alfred, Montreal; Ludger, Alberta; sisters, Philomene Paulin, Toronto; Jeanne Arsenault, Margaret (Mrs. Garvias Hache), New Brunswick; Lucienne (Mrs. Garfield Benteau), Eliana Gionet, Dartmouth; Exilda Williams, Halifax; Denise (Mrs. Donald Sienvieutigz), Mahone Bay; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah-Ann; sister, Therese; granddaughter, Santana-Marie. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Dr., Lower Sackville. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, Rev. Owen Connolly officating. Burial in Oakridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
