Dorothy May Gray
1916-1997
Mrs. Dorothy May Gray, age 81, of Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, N.B., formerly of Broadway Street, Moncton, N.B., passed away on Thursday, June 5, 1997 at her residence.
Born on Sunday, April 16, 1916 in River Hebert, N.S., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Blanche) Legere. A retired clerk from Supply Depot No. 5, Moncton, she was a member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Tony Beck (Catherine) of Arnprior, Ont.; one son, Bernard Gray of Halifax, N.S.; four brothers, George Legere of River Hebert, N.S., Hance Legere of Halifax, N.S., Herb Legere of Westville, N.S., Harold Legere of Kingston, Ont.; one sister, Marion Deveau of Salmon River, N.S.; four grandsons, two great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and four sisters, Helen, Annie, Blanche, and Bernice.
By request, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at Cadman's Funeral Home, 114 Alma Street, Moncton, N.B., on Monday, June 9, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon H. Pitre officiating. Interment will be in North Street Cemetery, Springhill, N.S.
