Death Miss A. Leger -
The death of Miss Alvina Leger of Humphrey occurred at Moncton Hospital on Friday after a long illness. She was 75. Born in Cape Bald, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Antoinette Leger and was a retired employee of the Humphry Mills company. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Sucour Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are, three sisters, Mrs. Joseph LeBlanc (Marie) of Lewisville, Mrs. Mathilda Cormier of North Bay, Ont., and Mrs. Dosithe Vautour (Alice) of Saint John; two brothers, Alyre Leger of Sackville and Max Leger of Hudson, Mass. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home in Moncton with service to be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Sucour Church on Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cememtery.
