Mrs. A. Bourque Shediac (Special) -
Mrs. Amanda Bourque, 76, of Residence Joseph LeBlanc, Shediac, and formerly of Scoudouc, died Friday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a short illness. Born in Scoudouc, she was a daughters of the late Edmond and Sara (Babineau) Melanson. She was a co-owner of a confectionary store in Scoudouc. She attended St. Jacques Majeur Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc. Her husband Antoine Bourque, died in 1967. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Normand Breau (Geraldine) of Dieppe, Mrs. Leo Maillet (Doris) of Shediac, Mrs. Victor Leger (Yvonne) of Moncton, and Mrs. Guy Babineau (Amanda) and Mrs. Carl Trenholm (Diane), both of Scoudouc; two sons, Paul of Dieppe and Gerald of Montreal; two sisters, Mrs. Joffre Gotreau (Diana) of Mont Magney, Que., and Mrs. Eveline Vautour of Scoudouc; 19 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated at a date and time to be announced at St. Jacques Majeur Roman Catholic Church. Arrangements are in care of Frenette's Funeral Home.
