SCOUDOUC - Mrs. Dina Bourque, 69, widow of the late Antoine Bourque of Scoudouc, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton of Friday, August 15, 1997.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Green and Mélina (Meunier) Green of Shediac.
She is survived by her mother, Mélina (Meunier) Green of Shediac; three sons, Daniel Bourque (Lynn) of Edmonton, Alberta, Arthur Bourque (Annette) of Cap-Pelé, Roger Bourque (Maria) of Scoudouc; two step-daughters, Léa Gallant (Ronald) of Scoudouc, Stella Bourque (Roger) of Meadow Brook; five sisters, Rita Melanson (Alderice) of Waltham, Mass., Zélia Boucher (Gérard) of Shediac Bridge, Marie Arsenault (Robert) of Montréal, PQ, Anita Green and Catherine Belliveau (Oscar) both of Scoudouc; four brothers, Thomas Green (Jacqueline) of Montréal, PQ, Arthur Green (Norma) and Eddy Green (Betty) both of Meadow Brook, Yvon Green (Andréa) of Scoudouc, Yvon Green (Andréa) of Scoudouc; one grandchild, Michel and seven step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Willie Bourque (1971), second husband, Antoine Bourque (1994), a son Harold and a step-son, Philias Bourque.
Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) with visitation on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 adn 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jacques Majeur Roman Catholic Church, Scoudouc on Monday, August 18, 1997 at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Donations in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
