Bernadette Leger

Miss. Bernadette Leger, 87, of Pro Tem Health Services, Moncton, formerly of Dieppe, and Grande-Digue, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the Health Centre. Born April 25, 1915 in GrandeDigue, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Eliza (Cormier) Leger. She was employed with Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs for 27 years before retirement. She is survived by two sisters, Justine Poirier, and Évangeline Leger both of Dieppe; a brother, Pierre (Yvonne) of Moncton; several nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Lorette Poirier in 1997. No visitation by request. The funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at La Visitation Roman Catholic Chruch, GrandeDigue, Rev. Yvon Cormier officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
