SAINTE-MARIE DE KENT, NB Gerard Saulnier, 54, husband of Gilberte Léger, passed away at his residence in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB, on Wednesday, December 17, 2002 following a sudden illness. Born on April 25, 1948, in SainteMarie de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Antoine Saulnier and Blanche Melanson. He was a Utility Operator with D.O.T. for approximately 20 years. He attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. He is survived by his wife Gilberte Léger; one daughter Sylvie LeBlanc (Gaétan) of Irishtown; one son, Martin of Moncton; four sisters, Antoinette Banman (Pete) of Vancouver, AnneMarie Maillet (Jos) of Clinton, Mass., Adrienne Roy of Saint-John, Geneva Sonier (Donald) of Cocagne; two brothers, Rhéal (Maria) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Aldérice of Montreal; one grandchild, Samuel; several nephews & nieces. Predeceased by one brother, Arthur. At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Remains placed in NotreDame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
