Dora Girouard
Dora Girouard, 86, wife of the late Edmond Girouard, of Villa de Repos, Moncton, passed away Monday, December 30, 2002 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born May 3, 1916 in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Pascal Thebeau and Appoline Daigle. She is survived by six children, Rita Leger (Fernand) of St-Antoine, Diana Bourgeois (Bob) of Missouri, Rose-Eva Frechette (Paul) of Florida, John Bourgeois (Juliette) of Mass., Leo Bourgeois (Glenda) of Colorado; three step-children, Jeannette Gillis (Dan) of Alberta, Emile Girouard (Florence) of Shediac Cape, Philippe Girouard (Sylvia) of Dieppe; five sisters, Agnes Richard of St-Ignace, Eveline Richard (Jean-Baptiste) of Moncton, Elisa Robichaud (Elmo), and Annette Doiron (Patrick) both of Richibouctou, Rose LeBlanc of Cocagne; five brothers, Medric (Sophie) of Miramichi, Raymond (Lorraine) of Rogersville, Vital (Rita) and Joseph (Carole) both of Nackawic, René (Theresa) of Riverview; several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Alphonse Bourgeois (1939), her second husband, Edmond Girouard (1987); daughter, Maria Landry; brothers, Eddie, Leonard, Camille, Irenée, and Alban Thebeau. Resting at St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne, Visiting hours Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. The funeral Mass will be held at 11:15 Friday, January 3, 2003 at St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
