SAINT-PAUL de KENT, NB - Gerard Collette, 79, husband of Thérèse (Roy) Collette, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Saturday, November 9, 2002 following a lengthy illness. Born on May 4, 1923 in Saint-Paul de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Rémi Collette and Lucienne Robichaud. He was a construction worker and attended Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Thérèse Collette; three daughters, Shirley Surette (David) of Cocagne, Linda Leaman (Randy) of Saint John, Aline LeBlanc (Robert) of Cocagne; three sons, Norman (May), Paul (Lisa), Edmond (Della) all of Saint-Paul de Kent; four sisters, Dora Maillet (Ernie) of Saint- Lazarre, Anita Caissie, Dorina Melanson, Leona Léger all of Moncton; four brothers, Laurie (Alice), Eddie, Fred (Marise) all of Moncton, Philamon (Elva) of Rogersville; 18 grandchildren; one great granddaughter, Jessica; several nephews and nieces. Predeceased by two daughters, Maria and Alice; one sister, Irène. Remains resting at Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room with visiting hours on Sunday, November 10 from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral service to be held at Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 11, 2002 at 7:00pm. Remains placed in Parish Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
