Gerard Ulysse Leger
Gerard Ulysse Leger, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, August 21, 2001, at the age of 70 years.
Born in Moncton NB, on January 7, 1931, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Leah (Richard) Leger.
He was a retired painter with Eastern Painter with over 20 years service. He enjoyed playing: darts, baseball, hockey, body building and was an avid swimmer. He was a member of Beau Hebert, in Shediac and a member of the Shediac Legion Branch #33.
He is survived by his wife; Lillian (Ogalvie); one daughter, Vicki Kurkowsky of Vancouver; one son, Gary McDonald and his wife Pamila of Pointe du Chene; two grandchildren, Christopher Nelson and his wife Angelia, Tara Lynn McDonald; three greatchildren, Robie, Bryan, Shayne; one brother, Ronald Leger of Moncton. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister Doreen Leger.
Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home with visiting hours from 7-9 pm, on Wednesday, August 22, 2001. The funeral service will be held from Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 10:00 am with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
