Sylvestre Boudreau, age 57, of Cocagne, NB, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 18th, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born December 4th, 1948 in Boudreau Office, NB, he was the son of Antoine Boudreau and the late Céline Boudreau. Sylvestre enjoyed working in the advertisement sector for the French newspapers, Le Moniteur Acadien, l'Acadie Nouvelle and l'Evangeline, which was dear to his heart. He also was employed for the Québec television station CHAU-TV. He was also a salesman for several insurance companies and auto dealerships in Moncton. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked fishing, camping, wood working, reading and especially riding his motorbike. Sylvestre is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Léger) Boudreau, his daughter, Joanne Boudreau (Marco) of Shediac, and his son, Sylvio Boudreau (Cindy) of Moncton; his father Antoine Boudreau (Pauline) of Cocagne; two brothers Marc Boudreau (Monica) of Toronto and Serge Boudreau of Cocagne; three sisters, Antoinette Robblee (Mike) of Arnprior, Ontario; Denise Carver (Paul) of Shediac and Léone LeBlanc (Roger) of Shediac; half-sister Rose Boudreau of Calgary, Alberta and half-brother Michel LaDouceur of Montréal, Québec; two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Samuel; several nieces and nephews; special mention for Patricia Dupuis of Dieppe. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation Association would be appreciated by the family. Family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 21, from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, June 22, from 12 to 1 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of the Coopérative Funéraire Passage Funeral Co-operative on Thursday, June 22 at 1 pm. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Shediac.
