Mrs. A. Bernard -
The death of Marie Denise Bernard, wife of Anonin Bernard, of Adamsville, N.B., occurred Wednesday at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 73. Born in Adamsville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Premelite and Marguerite (Barriau) Arsenault. She attended Adamsville Roman Catholic Church, she was a member of the Women's Institute and a past member of the Adamsville Golden Age Club. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Willie Leger (Catherine) of Dieppe, Mrs. Leo LeBlanc (Madeline) Toronto and Mrs. Russell Delhunty (Anna) of Adamsville; five sons Eric and Pierre of Toronto, Moise and Gerard of Adamsville, and Andre of Moncton, four sisters, Imelda Arsenault of Hull, Que., Mrs. Auguste Dumas (Elizabeth) of Bathurst, Mrs. Arnold Jensen (Marguerite) of Guelph, Ont., Mrs. Rosario Maillet (Marie) of St. Hubert, Que.; three brothers, Rev. Pierre Moise Arsenault of Bathurst, and Gerard and Ruffin, both of Moncton; 22 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The body is resting at Adamsville Roman Catholic Church where the funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
