Ernest J. Cormier - Ernest J. Cormier, 78, of the Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton, died Friday at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Regis and Rosanna (Goguen) Cormier. he was a former CN rail car inspector, retiring in 1976 with 38 years of service. He attended Assumption Cathedral. he is survived by his wife, the former Lorraine LeBlanc; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Arsenault (Norma) of Toronto and Mrs. Arcade Goguen (Marcia) of Irishtown; five sisters, Mrs. Alma LeBlanc, Mrs. Irene McGee, Mrs. Geneva Arsenault, Mrs. Arthur Leger (Edna) and Mrs. Rita Collette, all of Moncton; a brother, Gerald of Toronto; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Three brothers, Edgar, fred and Raymond, died previously. The body is at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Assumption Cathedral. Burial will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe.
