J. W. Doiron Acadieville (Special) -
John W. Doiron, 79, of Acadieville died Friday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness. Born in Acadieville, he was a son of the late Willie and Zelianne (Arsenault) Doiron. He was a retired employee of Moncton Co-op Feed, an avid hunter and fisherman. He attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville and was a member of the Acadieville Golden Age Club. He is a survived by his wife, the former Marie Cormier; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Lagace (Jeannine) of Lunenburgh, Mass., and Mrs. France Leger (Elise) of Acadieville; 10 sons, Leandre and Leonard, both of Acadieville, Real, Roger, Raymond, Leo-Paul, Hector, Jean-Marie and Ulysse, all of Moncton, Robert of Manchester, N.H.; two sisters, Mrs. Gerard Arsenault (Alma) and Mrs. Fred Caissie (Zelica), both of Rogersville; two brothers, Ovila Doiron of Acadieville and Antoine of Rogersville; 31 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A sister, Vina Richard and a brother Alphee, died previously. The body is at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville, where funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 4 p.m. Burial will be in the Acadieville parish cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Fenette's Funeral Home, St. Antoine.
