Alyre Boucher -
Alyre J. Boucher, 72, of Bouctouche South, and formerly of Moncton, on Cedar Street, in Parkton, passed away peacefully at Stella–Maris–de–Kent Hospital, Ste–Anne–de–Kent, on Sunday, January 29, 2017.Born in Saint Paul de Kent, he was the son of the late William and Anna (Gaudet) Boucher. Alyre was the owner / operator of Boucher Office Equipment Ltd. (awarded the Sharp Electronics Salesman of The Year) and founder of Boucher Maintenance Ltd., contractor for Bell Aliant. He attended Notre–Dame–de–Grâce Roman Catholic Church and was a 3rd Degree and Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus. Alyre was a Montreal Canadiens fan, an avid hunter and trapper, enjoyed gardening, nature, spending time with his family and friends and his beloved camp in St. Paul. Alyre will be sadly missed by his children, Monty Maillet, Michel Boucher and Alex Boucher (Phyllis Gaudet), all of Moncton; granddaughter, Chanelle Boucher; brothers, Camille Boucher of Waltham, Mass., Valmont Boucher of Moncton, Alvin Boucher of Parry Sound, ON, Ronald Boucher, Terry Boucher and Clarence Boucher, all of Moncton; sisters, Marie Leger (late Fred) of Moncton and Doreen Cormier of Massachusetts; special friend, Roseanna Richard; canine companion, Sheeba; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne (Maillet) Boucher (2011); infant son, Alyre Jr. (1972); brother, Gerard and infant brother, William Jr. Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858–1995) on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 am until 10:15 am. A Funeral Mass celebrating Alyre’s life will be held from Notre–Dame–de–Grâce Roman Catholic Church, 854 Mountain Road, on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:30 am. Reception in the Church Hall following Mass. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in the spring.
