LEDGER, Harold J., 70
SKOWHEGAN and BANGOR Harold J. Ledger, 70, died unexpectedly at his home in Skowhegan. He was born in Skowhegan, Oct. 23, 1930, the son of Harry J. and Ruth M. (Ames) Ledger. Harold enjoyed life very much, especially hunting, fishing and his dog, Duke. He is survived by three daughters, Joan DeLuca of Bangor, Carol R. Barker of North Anson and Arlene Ledger of Winslow; one son, Linwood Ledger of Norridgewock; 10 grandchildren, one favorite aunt, Irene Strickland of Skowhegan; one cousin, Margaret "Peggy" Corrson of Canaan; several nieces and nephews; very special friends, Rachel and David Ferguson, Linda Stevens and family. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Carrie and his parents. Harold and Carrie's favorite song was "From a Jack to a King." A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Skowhegan, with the Rev. Maurice Morin, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the family lot, Sunset View Cemetery, Norridgewock. Arrangements by the Greenlawn Funeral Directors, Bangor.
