CAP DE COCAGNE - Raoul (Ralph) Caissie, 76, of Cap de Cocagne, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 1995 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born on February 3, 1919 in Grande-Digue, he was the son of the late Amand and Marie (Cormier) Caissie. He attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue. A veteran, he served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II from 1941 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife, Ozélie (Leger) Caissie; five daughters, Diane McGraw (Noël), Jeannine Boucher (Bernard Richard), Aline Caissie and Suzanne Roy (Yvon), all of Cap de Cocagne, Phyllis McGraw (Alfred) of McDougal Settlement; seven sons, Meredeth, Maurice (Gisele), Kenneth (Jeannette O'Brien) and Francis (Adelita), all of Cap de Cocagne; Marcel (Jill) of Shelburn, NS, Eugene (Anne Bourque) of Cocagne and Dollard of Cap de Cocagne; four sisters, Sr. Léozé Caissie of Providence of Montréal, QC, Cécile LeBlanc (Louis) and Adeline Melanson (Aubrey), both of Moncton, Madelaine Boudreau (Antoine) of Barachois; 14 grandchildren; two great greandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Philippe, Amand and Joseph; four sisters, Sr. Aline, Marguerite, Rosanne and Ozelie.
Resting at Frenette'S Funeral Home, 248 Main St., Shediac, where visiting hours were held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grande-Digue on Monday, August 21, 1995 at 7 p.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
