Samuel F. Allanach, 82 years, of Grandview Drive, Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday June 2, 2002. Born in Campbellton, N.B.,he was the son of the late Samuel and Christina (MacPherson) Allanach. Sam will be sadly missed by his wife of 56 years, Eileen (Atkinson) Allanach; children Diane (Kim) DeWare, Bruce (Paulette), Shirley (Ron) Hicks, Karen (Terry) Teed and Bill; grandchildren Tracey (Jacques Pinet) DeWare, Jennifer (Steven) Kikkert, Tyler and Adam Hicks, Allyson and Laura Teed, Jessica and Sam Allanach; great grandchildren Harrison and Benjamin Griffin; sister Patsy Johnson of Victoria BC; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Sam was predeceased by brothers Earle, Mac and Bill and sisters Bertha, Jessie, Thelma and Doreen. Sam had retired from the CNR as Atlantic Regional Welding Supervisor after 39 years of service. He was a member of St. John's United Church and was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the Royal Canadian Navy in Canada and overseas. Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home (852-3530) 1177 Salisbury Rd. Moncton Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel,Wednesday June 5th 2002 at 2 pm. Rev. Ross Wiseman officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. A reception to follow in the Family Reception Room of Fair Haven Funeral Home.
