C. J. Richard Aldouane, (Special) -
Charlemain Joseph Richard, 78, of Aldouane, died Friday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, after a lenghty illness. Born in St. Ignace, he was a son of the late Benoit and Alphonsine (Barrieau) Richard. A farmer, he attended St.Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto, and was a member of the St. Louis de Knet Golden Age Club. His wife, Zoe Richard died previously. He is survived by a son, Fidele of St. Ignace; seven sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Legere, Mrs. Ted Daigle (Rita), and Eva, all of Moncton, Mrs. Wilfred Richard (Marie) of Leominster, Mass., Lorette of Shediac, Diana of St. Antoine, and Aline of St. Anne de Kent; three brothers, Albert of St. Ignace, Zoel of Richibucto, and Lionel of Saint John; two grandchildren and several nieces and newphews. The body is at St. Louis de Kent Roman Catholic Church, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto.
