SHEMOGUE - Edgar Brine, 83, of Shemogue, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, April 30, 1995.
Born on June 9, 1911 in Shemogue, he was the son of the late Raphael and Elizabeth (Melanson) Brine. He was a retired construction worker, "but was always a farmer at heart". He attended St. Timothee Roman Catholic Church in Shemogue. He was a member of the Golden Age Club in Shemogue.
He is survived by his wife, Marie (Gaudet) Brine; two daughters, Mrs. Jeannine Leger and her husband Emeric of Cap Pele, Mrs. Bernice Belliveau and her husband Roger of Shediac; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Atkinson of Watertown, Mass. USA., Mrs. Emma Gaudet of Dieppe; three grandchildren, Parise Cormier and her husband Serge of St. Paul, Serge Leger of Cap Pele, Gaetan Leger of Cap Pele; one great great son, Francois. He was predeceased by three sisters, Phelonise, Stella and Alma; two brothers, Vincent and Arthur Brine.
Resting at the Golden Age Club in Shemogue with visiting hours Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Timothee Roman Catholic Church in Shemogue on Wednesday, May 3, 1995 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Shemogue Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery.
