Cap-Pelé - Mrs. Emelda LeBlanc, 78, of Cap-Pelé passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Tuesday, March 25th, 1997.
Born May 27th, 1918 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Philippe LeBlanc and the late Lina Richard. A homemaker, she attended Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé and was very active in parish functions. She was a member of the Golden Age Club, Legion de Marie and Dames de Ste. Anne, Cap-Pelé
She is survived by her three daughters, Noella Julien (Gerry) of Cap-Pelé, Claire Savoie (Leo-Paul) of Neguac, Emilienne Léger (Clarence) of Shediac; two Sons, Omer of Dieppe and Aurèle (Murielle) of Cap-Pelé; one sister, Anna Léger (Phil) of Saint John; two brothers, Léonce LeBlanc (Alice) of Cap-Pelé, Femand LeBlanc (Alice) of Kitchener, Ont; 10 grandchildren, Janice, Monique, Debbie, Jessica, Jason, Julie, Amy, Mathieu, Micheal, Marc; two great grandchildren, Pierre and Nicole. She was predeceased by her husband, Dismas LeBlanc, September 15th, 1967 and one brother, Valerie LeBlanc.
Resting at Funérarium Frenette, Cap Pelé (577-3297) with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Thursday, March 27th, 1997 at 2 p.m. interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Cap-Pelé.
