Marcelle I. Leger, 60 Was a secetary at General Electric Co. in Fitchburg
LEOMINSTER -- Marcelle I. "Marcy" Leger, 60, of 31 Academy Road, formerly of Fitchburg, died at home Friday, Feb. 12, after a short illness.
She was born Sept. 12, 1938, in Fitchburg, the daughter of George W. and Florentine (Breault) LeBlanc, and had lived there before moving to Leominster two years ago.
Mrs. Leger was a secretary for 25 years at the General Electric Co. in Fitchburg, retiring in 1996.
She was a former member of the GE Women's Bowling League.
She leaves a son, Thomas G. Leger of Leominster; a brother, Norman LeBlanc in Wisconsin; two sisters, Irene Richard of Fitchburg and Lucille Gratto in Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg.
