Réginald Gaudet

SAINT-ANDRÉ - À l'Hôpital Dr Georges-L. Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 31 janvier 1992, à l'âge de 60 ans, est décédé Réginald Gaudet, époux de Yvette (Nima) Gaudet, domicilié à Saint-André. Il était fils de feu Maximilien Gaudet de de Philomène (Poirier) Gaudet de Robichaud.

Outre son épouse et sa mère, il laisse dans le deuil sept filles: Camilla (Euclide Cormier), et Rosella Vienneau, toutes deux de Barachois, Gloria (Raymond Melanson), Norma Gaudet et Monique (Claude Léger), toutes de Saint-André, Lillianne Léger de Cormier-Village, et Rachel (Charles Léger) de Haute-Aboujagane; un fils, Rhéal de Cormier-Village; quatre soeurs: Alma McGraw et Gloria Gaudet, toutes deux de Robichaud, Rita (Yvon Daigle) de Shédiac River, et Edna Gaudet de Montréal; trois frères: Annatole et Roméo, tous deux de Dupuis Corner, et Joseph de Barachois, ainsi que 11 petits-enfants et plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Un frère, Clarice, l'a précédé daans la tombe.

La dépouille mortelle est présentement à la salle mortuaire de Cap-Pelé. Les funérailles auront lieu en l'église Sainte-Thérèse d'Avila de Cap-Pelé, ce lundi 3 février à 16h. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de l'endroit, au printemps.

La direction des funérailles a été confiée à la Maison funéraire Frenette de Moncton.

Roy Harry Landry

Amherst - Roy Harry Landry, 61, of 42 Hill Street, Amherst, died Thursday at Highland View Regional Hospital, Amherst. Born in Amherst, he was the son of the late Frederick and Leona (Legere) Landry. He was a former employee of Amherst Woodworkers where he had worked for about 15 years before retiring due to ill health. He was a member of Nativity of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the second world War and Korean War, serving with North Nova Scotia Highlanders and Black Watch. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Amherst Branch #10. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Chapman, two daughters, Dianne (Mrs John Jackson), Sherry (Mrs David Chitty); three sons, Roy, Gary, and Greg; two sisters, Margaret (Mrs Douglas Smith) and Winifred; a brother, William, all of Amherst, eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ricky; a sister, Eva; a brother, Ernest. The body is in Furlong's Funeral Home, Amherst. Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday at Nativity of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Amherst, Rev James Richards officiating, with burial in the church cemetery at a later date.
