Informations biographiques
Mr. Albert, a highly-respected craftsman, was a well known builder of many fine homes in the Leominster/Fitchburg area, operated as Denis J. Albert & Sons, Inc. Denis was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish, St. Jean Baptiste Fraternal Club, Sacred Heart League and Assumption Club. In his retirement, he summered in Grande Digue, New Brunswick, Canada, maintaining his connection to his French Canadian roots. In recent years he wintered in Holiday, FL. The consummate 'visitor', he would travel great distances just to say hello to friends and relatives. Always ready for cards, he played countless games of cribbage, usually ending largely in his favor. He was passionate about family gatherings, like in the 'old days', ever zealous in his love of family and of 'La Musique Acadienne', especially that of his fiddle-playing brother, Victor. To all who knew him well, there is no doubt that he truly lived by his oft repeated motto of 'Worry Pas'. To Denis, there were no strangers in life, just people he had not yet met. Denis was a loving father and grandfather, the center of our family.1
