Informations Biographiques

Cap-Pelé est décédé hier après une maladie de quelques mois. Il était âgé dit-on de 106 ans, mais on a aucune preuve de son âge. Certaines personnes âgées de la région estime qu'il était âgé de 105 à 110 ans.
Né à Botsford Portage, il y passe toute sa vie à l'exception d'un mois passé aux Etats-Unis avec sa famille. Depuis 1930, il demeurait chez M. Hervé Bourque. Il était constructeur de bateaux de métier et à 100 ans, il se tenait encore fort occupé autour de la maison.¹

Deputy registrar of Motor Vehicles for the State of Rhode Island until retiring in 1973.
Mr. Langlois was previously owner of a bakery route for many years. He served as an alderman, and later as a councilman for the City of Pawtucket. He was a former director of the Pawtucket Credit Union. He was a member of Le Foyer and served as its president in 1960 and 1961. He was a member of the Canado-Americaine Society.²
