CORMIER, Charlotte Helena - 82, Amherst, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008, in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Port Greville, she was a daughter of the late Onslow and Carrie (McCully) Legere. Charlotte was a member of Holy Family Parish, Amherst. She is survived by daughters, Sherrie Elliott (Gordon Jackson), Heather (Doug Polley Jr.) and Joanne Oake (Mike Legere), all of Amherst, and Debbie (David) Boyd, Dartmouth; sons, Doug (Arlene), Fenwick; Darren (Tasha), Amherst, and Robert (Paula), Moncton; brothers, Archie (Marjorie) Legere, Parrsboro; Stuart (Isabelle) Legere, Bass River; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Abbey, and brother, Frederick; sons-in-law Ronnie Elliott Jr. and Bradley Oake. Visitation will be held today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with parish prayers at 8 p.m., in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst (902-667-9906). The funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Parish, Amherst, on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery, Amherst. Donations in Charlotte's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. www.campbells-amherst.ca

Charlotte Helena Cormier, age 82, of Amherst passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan, N.S. Born in Port Greville, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Onslow and Carrie (McCully) Legere. Charlotte was a member of the Holy Family Parish, Amherst. She is survived by four daughters, Sherrie Elliott (Gordon Jackson), Heather (Doug Polley Jr.) and Joanne Oake (Mike Legere) all of Amherst and Debbie (David) Boyd of Dartmouth, three sons, Doug (Arlene) of Fenwick and Darren (Tasha) of Amherst and Robert (Paula) of Moncton, two brothers, Archie (Marjorie) Legere of Parrsboro and Stuart (Isabelle) Legere of Bass River, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Cléophas ’Cass’ Vautour
(1928-2008)
MONCTON - À l’Hôpital de Moncton, le jeudi 21 février 2008, à l’âge de 79 ans, est décédé Cléophas "Cass" Vautour, domicilié à Moncton, rue Noël. Né le 17 décembre 1928 à Moncton, il était fils de feu François et Anna (Léger) Vautour.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse depuis 53 ans, Félice "Phyllis" (Gauvin) Vautour; trois fils: Daniel (Laura) de Bathurst, David (Lise) et Rick (Joanne) de Moncton; trois filles: Nanette Cormier (Ricky), Suzanne Myers (David) et Lise Boudreau (Michel Lamoureux), toutes de Dieppe; quatre soeurs: Célestina Poirier (feu Louis), Thérèse Arsenault (feu William), Maria Basque (Charles) et Viola Dupuis (feu Eugène), toutes de Moncton; un frère, Camille "Sally" (Roseanna "Rosie") de Grande-Digue; 11 petits-enfants: Mathieu, Louise, Martin, Luc, Julien, Daniel, Jérémie, Maurice, Philippe, Janelle et Max; un arrière-petit-fils, Nigel, ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux.
Une fille, Louise (1966), ainsi que trois frères: Lionel, Ernest et Gérard, l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
M. Vautour était un plâtrier. Il était membre du Club de l’âge d’or et membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, 3e degré, conseil no 6468 de Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Il était un grand passionné de hockey. Il adorait aller voir ses petits-enfants jouer dans les arénas locaux et il était aussi un fidèle partisan des Canadiens de Montréal.
La dépouille mortelle sera exposée à compter de 14h, le vendredi 22 février, à la Maison funéraire Frenette ltée, 88, rue Church, à Moncton (858-1900, www.salonfrenette.com). Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Notre-Dame-de-Grâce de Moncton, le samedi 23 février, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire à Dieppe.
Heures de visites: le vendredi 22 février, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi 23 février, de 10h à 10h40.
Au lieu des fleurs, un don à l’Association canadienne du diabète ou au Centre d’oncologie de l’Hôpital de Moncton serait apprécié.

Cléophas "Cass" Vautour 79, of Noël St., Moncton passed away on February 21, 2008 at The Moncton hospital following a brief illness. Born December 17, 1928 in Moncton, he was the son of the late François and Anna (Léger) Vautour. Mr. Vautour was a Plasterer by trade, and a member of the Golden Age Club and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Council # 6468. Mr. Vautour was very passionate about hockey. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play in local Arenas. He was also an avid fan of the Montreal Canadians.
