    J. Armand "Skip" Leger 1931-2006 Joseph Armand "Skip" Leger, 75, of Moncton, died Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 at The Moncton Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Born June 13th, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph and Nora (Johnston) Leger. He is survived by his brother, Murray; and his wife, Gayle, of Pte-du-Chène; nieces, Nancy Leger (Dan) of Ottawa and Debra Hawker (Richard) of Pte-du-Chêne, their families; many cousins and friends. Skip drove taxi for White Cab with over 35 years service. He loved watching baseball, fascinated by engineering feats, and was often found holding court with his friends at the "Square". The funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, December 28th, 2006 at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. Memorial donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Frenette Funeral Home, Moncton (858-1900) www.frenettefuneralhome.com.

Born in Pre d'en Haut, NB, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Hermance (Gaudet) Auffrey. She was a member of St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, Dorchester, NB. She is survived by her husband John D. Leger, Memrancook; sons John (Barbara), Calgary, Alta and Peter, Sackville; sisters Alva, Germaine, Aline (Late Melas) Richard, and Ella all of Pre d'en Haut, Edna (Late Lorenzo) Leger of Moncton, Mary (Camille) Bourgeois, Belliveau Village, brothers; Francie (Marie), Fitchburg, Mass, sister-in-laws Annette Aufrey, Dieppe, Eva Auffrey, Pre d'en Haut, Elise (Tony) Landry and Phyllis (Roland) McPhee, both of Sackville, brother-in-law Camille Leger, Gardener Mass, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Walter, Fred and Alban, baby Henry and a sister Baby Anita. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St. Sackville, NB (364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 11am, the Rev. Father Allison Carroll officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Vincent's Holy Rosary Parish Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to the charity of your choice. www.jonesfuneralhome.ca.

    Jeannita LeBlanc 1941-2006 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, passed away Jeannita LeBlanc, 65, of Moncton Born April 21, 1941 in Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Délima (Leger) Boudreau. Beloved wife of Lionel LeBlanc; loving mother of Lynne Morrison (Brent) of Fredericton and Bermont of Moncton; Mémère of Kayla; dear sister of Virgina Boudreau (Late Eugéne) and Victor (Maria) of Grand-Barachois. Jeannita was a retired school teacher and librarian at École Beauséjour, Mathieu-Martin, and École Boudreau-Office. She was member of SEERF-NB, Club d'Age d'Or Parkton, an avid bowler, and shuffle-board player. The Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm, Friday, December 15, 2006 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). In keeping with the family's wishes, family and dear friends only please. Internment will be in St-Henri Cemetery, Grand-Barachois. Memorial donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
