78, passed away after a lenghty illness in Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, on November 17, 1996. He was a retired employee of Air Canada in Halifax. He was born in Belliveau Village, Memramcook, on February 11, 1918, and was the son of the late Andre O. LeBlanc and Salome Bourque. He had been living in Belliveau Village for the past several years. He is survived by his wife, Elmire (Belliveau) LeBlanc; daughters, Claudette (James) Spinks, Hoover, Ala.; Pauline LeBlanc, Belliveau Village; Paulette (Guy) Leger, Cocagne; sons, Romeo (Susan) LeBlanc, Southington, Conn.; Bernard (Juliette) LeBlanc, Calgary, Alta.; sisters, Obeline (late Louis) Gaudet, Dorice (late George) Sharon, both of Somers, Conn.; Andrea (Armand) Gaudet, Waltham, Mass.; brother, Normand LeBlanc, Belliveau Village. He also leaves nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant son, Oscar; sisters, Laura, Irene, Carmelita, Aurise, Corinne; brothers, Irois, Antoine, Alphe, Emery, Arsene. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of NotreDame de l'Annonciation Parish, Pre-d'en-Haut and was also a member of Club D'Age D'Or, Pre-d'enHaut. The remains will be resting at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook, with visiting hours on Wednesday, November 20, from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 21, from 2-6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 7 p.m. at Norte-Dame de Annonciation Church, Pre-d'en-Haut. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pre-d'en-Haut. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Lung Association or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Austin and Dollina (Tutty) Kiley and the late William H. Carson. He was at one time employed at No. 26 colliery and later at Prince colliery with Cape Breton Development Corporation. He was employed in the mining industry in Campbell River since February 1996. He was mine supervisor at the time of his death. He was a member of the mine rescue teams at both No. 26 and Prince collieries. He was an adherent of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Glace Bay. Surviving are daughters, Megan, Sydney; Nichole, Jennifer, British Columbia; son, Billy, British Columbia; a grandson; sisters, Judy Legere, Darlene Kiley, Glace Bay; a niece and two nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 2 p.m. Friday, both in Patten Funeral Home and Chapel, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, Rev. Eric Lynk officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

He was at one time employed at No. 26 colliery and later at Prince colliery with Cape Breton Development Corporation. He was employed in the mining industry in Campbell River since February 1996. He was mine supervisor at the time of his death. He was a member of the mine rescue teams at both No. 26 and Prince collieries. He was an adherent of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Glace Bay. Surviving are daughters, Megan, Sydney; Nichole, Jennifer, British Columbia; son, Billy, British Columbia; a grandson; sisters, Judy Legere, Darlene Kiley, Glace Bay; a niece and two nephews. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, funeral 2 p.m. Friday, both in Patten Funeral Home and Chapel, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, Rev. Eric Lynk officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Born in Glace Bay, he was a son of Austin and Dollina (Tutty) Kiley and the late William H. Carson.
