CORMIER, RONALD -
Ronald Émile Cormier, 74, passed away at home in Grand Barachois on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Born in Moncton, February 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Émile and Edmée (Foster) Cormier. Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver for Paturel's, Nima Transport, George & Guy Boudreau Trucking and Brookville Transport. An avid hunter, he also loved gardening, fishing and snowblowing. His passion was watching baseball. Ronald will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife of 49 years, Jeannette (Goguen) Cormier and their children: Réginald (Brigitte), Donald (Annette) and Ola (Robert) all of Grand Barachois, Linda Vautour (Hervé) of Saint-André-LeBlanc and Rhéal (Lucienne) of Utah; two brothers: Edgar (Rose-Marie) of Cormier Village and Roger (Claudette) of Saint-André-LeBlanc; two sisters: Louise Saulnier (Paul) and Florine Léger (late Léonce) both of Cormier Village; eight grandchildren: Denis, Mario, Joline, Adèle, Isabelle, Jocelyn, Justin and Morgan, many nephews, nieces and friends. He is predeceased by two siblings: Diane and Joseph. The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, September 23, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, September 24 from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste.
