G. LeBIanc Shediac (Special) -
The death of George LeBlanc of Upper Aboujagne occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Tuesday after a lengthy illness. Born in Upper Aboujagane he was a son of the late Francois and Marie (Melanson) LeBlanc. His wife died in 1971. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Dollard LeBlanc (Stella) of Upper Aboujagane, Mrs. Clovis LeBlanc (Azelle) of Memramcook, Mrs. Willie LeBlanc (Marie) and Mrs. William Saulnier (Eva) of L'Oudre, Mrs. Gilberte Leger of Dieppe and Mrs. Edmond Dulong (Emilia) of Rockville, Conn.; one son, Yvon of Moncton; five sisters, Mrs. Amede Petitpas (Alma) St. Joseph, Mrs. Emile Lirette (Marguerite), Mrs. Amede Gautreau, (Yvonne), Mrs. Phillis Bissonnette, all of Upper Aboujagne and Mrs. Patrick Fougere (Melende) of Robichaud Office; two brothers, Phillias of Dieppe and Henry of Bristol, Conn., 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The body is resting at Frenette's Funeral Home in Shediac. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday in Upper Aboujagane Roman Catholic Church at a time to be announced. Interment will be in the Upper Aboujagane cemetery.
