Mrs. Leonide LeBlanc -
The community was saddened and shocked to hear the news of the death of Emerise LeBlanc, beloved wife of Leonide LeBlanc of Cape Bald, N.B., which occurred on October 16th at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Moncton, after a two days illness at the age of 28 years. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her husband, three small children, her father, Alphie T. LeBlanc of Shemogue, six brothers, Leo of Wallingford, Conn., Rene of St. John, Fred, Charlie, Adolphe and Thedore of Shemogue, also four sisters, Mrs. Fred Brine, Mrs. Antoine Goguen of Shemogue, Mrs. Fred Devarennes of Moncton and Mrs. Georges Leger of Cape Bald, N.B., who were all present at her funeral. The funeral took place on Oct. 19th and was largely attended. The requiem high mass was sung by Rev. F. Philip Robichaud of Shemogue assisted by Rev. F. Edgar LeBlanc of Barachois and Rev. F. Leonard Leger of Port Elgin as deacon and sub-deacon respectively. The commital prayers at the grave were said by Rev. F. Donat Robichaud, parish priest. The pall-bearers were: M.M. Fred and Leonard Devarennes, Ervil Hachey, Gerald, Valerie and Robert Brine. ....
